Katt Williams who went to jail for attempted burglary has been released. Comedian Katt William was accused of breaking into house and hence ended up going into jail. He was accused of theft as well. The breaking-in stunt by Katt Williams made him to go to the jail. But lately he was released from the jail after a $40,000 bond.
The house which was robbed by Williams was located in a farm house near West Georgia. The owner of the house is record producer named Barry Hankerson. It has been said that Williams was living in the home as guest for last one month as he was busy filming a movie. The movie is being produced by the house owner Barry Hankerson. Williams has been accused of breaking into the house and stealing jewelry and collectibles of worth $3,500. Katt Williams was arrested when police was informed about the theft by one of Hankerson’s employee.
Williams’s lawyer stated that he is innocent and the incident is a misunderstanding which will be resolved soon. ‘We absolutely deny involvement in anything,’ says Williams’ attorney.
When journalists approached Katt Williams in jail, he gave them good smile and there were no signs of anxiety on his face. The county magistrate has released Williams on a $40,000 bail.
Katt Williams is a stand-up comedian who has gained much appreciation since 1999. He makes frequent appearances in clubs. He has also worked in many movies and has voiced cartoons like The Boondocks.
