The games for the 2009 ACC-Big Ten Challenge began on Monday with Virginia and Penn State playing, and Penn State took the game 69-66 to give the Big-Ten the first win in the challenge. Five more games took place on Tuesday, with the Big Ten winning two of those games, and the ACC winning three of the games to push the results to a tie in the 2009 challenge.
