Aaron Zononi,NU student dies on campus Thursday

Aaron Zononi, a junior computer engineering major, died today on campus according to a university-wide e-mail sent by Senior Vice President of Enrollment and Student Life Philomena Mantella.

Vice President for Marketing and Communications Mike Armini, Director of Communications Renata Nyul, and officials from the Boston Police Department and Northeastern University Division of Public Safety did not return requests for comment.

"Our heartfelt condolences go to his family and all his many friends for this untimely loss," the e-mail said. "As our thoughts and prayers are with Aaron’s loved ones, we reflect on how precious life is, and seek comfort in the shared strength of our community."

Zononi was an employee at Hollister Co. in the Cambridge Side Galleria, and served on a committee with the faculty senate to initiate TRACE for faculty evaluations.
