Shane Hmiel Crash | Nascar Shane Hmiel Crash

Former Nascar driver Shane Hmiel was injured in a crash Saturday, while trying to qualify for a United States race.

Shane Hmiel who is 30 years of age was airlifted after the crash to Indianapolis Methodist Hospital.

He is listed as being in critical but stable condition. Hmiel was banned from NASCAR in 2006 following his third failed drug test.
