Shaniya Davis Autopsy planned for North Carolina Girl

On Monday, authorities found the body of a little girl they believe to be missing 5-year-old Shaniya Davis. An autopsy is planned to determine how she died.

According to ABC News, a time for the procedure, which will take place in Chapel Hill, has not yet been scheduled.

Shaniya’s mother reported her missing from her Fayetteville home on the morning of Nov. 10.

Mario Andrette McNeill was seen on hotel surveillance cameras taking her girl into a room. He has been arrested and charged with kidnapping.

The girl’s mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, faces several charges, including human trafficking and filing a false police report.

Additional charges are expected to be filed in light of the developments in the case.
