Actress Brittany Murphy died after entering full cardiac arrest in her Los Angeles mansion on Sunday. The Coroner’s Office suspects the star succombed to natural causes, but is something more sinister to blame? The rail-thin actress was for years dogged by rumors of eating disorders and drug use. Brittany vehemently denied the reports, pinning her emaciated figure on old age and a rigorous workout regime.
But, in an eerie final interview, Brittany confessed she shared many fans’ concerns about her tiny frame.
“I am a bit thinner now than what I would like to be,” the doe-eyed beauty admitted to Fox News’ Pop Tarts at a fashion event in Los Angeles Dec. 1 before her untimely death Sunday. “I was a ballerina for a long time,” the saucer-eyed starlet said. “I still take ballet lessons now – what it does to your body is incredible.”
Brittany Murphy was found unconscious in her shower over the weekend. Efforts to revive her were unsuccessful. She was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:04 AM. Brittany had been suffering from flulike symptoms for days and was throwing up profusely in the hours before she died, TMZ said.
